I remember being enthralled by the pictures in the National Geographic magazine as a kid in the 70's and 80's. BTW...it was when cameras used real film and it took more than 24 hours to get your photos developed! I have always had a fascination with photography and I believe National Georgaphic still has some of the best in the world.
The photography portion of the National Geographic website is a great way to expand the horizons of students by showcasing other parts of the world, showing close-ups of patterns, or just the amazing animal shots that are available. Check it out!
